- Does KinSift change my tree?
- Never. KinSift is read-only and does not connect to Ancestry or any other platform. It analyses a copy of your file and reports what it finds. Every change stays your decision, made in whichever software you already use.
- Why is the full analysis free?
- The analysis is what makes KinSift useful, and hiding it behind a paywall would defeat the point. Free gives you the real score, every issue found, Fix Packs, full exports, and local re-scan comparison. The Lineage Readiness Report adds a written, per-line document plus its own AI Roadmap and Conflict Resolver allowances, with 30 days of access to reopen and revisit it.
- Can I buy the Lineage Readiness Report today?
- Not yet. It isn't built — we're describing it first to see whether it's worth building. The button captures your email so we can tell you if and when it opens. It does not take payment and does not create an account.
- Is it a subscription?
- No. When it exists, the Lineage Readiness Report will be a single $39 payment per ancestor line, good for 30 days of access to the report. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
- Is the score produced by AI?
- No. The score comes from a deterministic rules engine — the same file always produces the same score. The optional AI tools help you plan and work through conflicts; they never change your score.
- Will the report prove my lineage?
- No software can. The Lineage Readiness Report tells you what is missing and what conflicts along that ancestor line, so you know exactly what to strengthen next — it does not certify that the line is proven. That conclusion, and the reasoning behind it, is still yours to write.
